Fix a scratch?

Postby Dean123 » Sun Jul 26, 2015 11:32 am

Hey,
I have scratched my board in my last session, it doesn't look serious to me,
You can feel it when running your fingernail over it but to me it looks like it hasn't penetrated the glass,
Should I fix it?

I probably would if I planned on keeping the board for a while longer
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

Fix it? I wouldn't even have noticed it.
You'll probably find me surfing, but if not, I'll probably be in the photography studio

Put a sticker over it. But if you're that worried, just brush some resin over it.

Depends:
A) i'd apply one coat of resin and sand smooth if it is my wonderful hand-shaped Don Mel 10 ft longboard or 8 ft 9 in SUP surfer
B) i'd do nothing if it is my epoxy longboard, poly 8 ft poly board, or 12 ft Laird Hamilton SUP

Thank you all for the tips,
I have noticed some small dots next to the scratch(maybe bubbles) not sure,
It looks like it is all over the board but I am pretty sure that's just the epoxy,
I'm probably just being paranoid,
I have tried to suck the water and no water came out
