I'm betting Betty's blog about her battered body, butt and board,is better than a brother's blog about butter making better batter!
Bravo on Bondi Betty's better blog!

Keep surfing keep sharing!
I've taken up troll hunting just for fun, instead of a rifle I'll just use a pun! 冲浪爷爷

I loved this part "using money I no longer needed to spend on a recent ex’s birthday present" (although I'm sure it wasnt as amusing to you at the time). So much better than the usual alternatives - talk about a silver lining.

FWIW, and I'm male so perhaps have a different prespective on things, no surfers judge you on how you look in a wetsuit. I mean, they are the least attractive clothing to wear at the best of times, so don't flatter anyone; but in any event most surfers judge you on how hard you try and how well you follow the rules. Of course, the whole 'Puberty Blues' culture probably still exists at times in some age groups, but Bondi aint that place. People are too busy laughing at/trying to avoid the backpackers.

There is a book I read some of while waiting in a shop one day that might interest you - http://www.surfsister.com.au/index.php/ ... g-the-drop

As I havent read the whole book its not a recommendation, but might be of interest as it seemed to cover similar ground to your blog.

Quite a few of your comments were dead on as far as I am concerned - confidence, cult, commitment etc. Keep writing, was enjoyable (have added you to my RSS feed)
