Postby Jimmy » Mon May 16, 2005 12:47 pm

Went to Croyde a couple of weeks ago and left my bodyboard in the tent for an hour. the sun came out, heated it up and ledt me with a load of blisters on the base of the board which will not go away. Do any of you guys know how to fix this or am I buggered?

So the slicks comming away from the sponge... gutted. Afrade theres not much you can do, as long as its not warpped then your pretty lucky!

Best thing you can do that might possibily help the situation is to lay it flat with even weight spread accross the board and leave it like that for a while in a warmish environment (eg bedroom/bathroom) then after 12 hours of that move it to a cool/cold environment (garage, shed in the shade) and leave it for 24hours.

This might sofent the glue enough to alow it to restick when move to the cold environment. but its a long shot. Be carefull to spread the weight evenly and not over the rocker or nose as this will warp it.
