its real crap we get less then men is we win a comp!! its sooo gay on the rip curl cup im pritty sure it was only 25.00.00 4 gurls but the ment get like 75.00.00 (by the way i dnno wot thousand is lol(there ment 2 be 25 thousand n 75 thousand lol))

It's the same for everything, not just sports. In general salaries are less for women than men.
For sport, some would argue that it is the men's events that generate the most revenue and as such the men are compensated better.
