What parts of the body does surfing affect? i.e. muscles and bones, body systems, etc.

Hi marleygirls, welcome to Surfing Waves.

Surfing is a great form of exercise. Surfing regularly will keep you in trim, give you regular cardiovascular workouts and increase overall strength and endurance.

Paddling exercises - arms, shoulders, cardiovascular
Surfing exercises - abdominals, arms, upper and lower legs, butt, cardiovascualr.

Lose weight, get into shape and rip up those waves (that's it, forget the atkins diet - this is the new weight loss solution)

i really agree with what surf patrol said. surfing is one of the best form of exercise.
