Tail Repair with Solarez???

Postby driftwood808 » Thu Jan 20, 2011 12:30 am

I just repaired a ding on my tail with solarez. I was just wondering if it will affect the performance of my board. Its a 6'2 thruster with a squash tail if that matters. Thanks for the help guys.

Not if you've kept the shape etc just like it used to be. How bad was the ding?

if it filled up the same size before a chunk flew off then no, performance will not be a concern. However, if its smaller, wider, or thicker than the acctual layer of glass on the board then you will need to sand it down. if you are really concerned just sand it anyway.
