New big wave spot discovered - Ireland

The latest wave, dubbed “Prowlers” by the hardy crew of Irish, British and South African surfers who first ventured out on it yesterday, breaks on an undersea reef about 2km (1.2 miles) off the west coast.

Check out the size of it. The photo is attributed to Aaron Pierce of Liquid Storm Images, hopefully some more images will be appearing - http://www.liquid-storm.com

Was a nice parting gift for Aaron. He's lived here in Strandhill for 10 years and off home to New Zealand with a brief stop in Hawaii on the way home. Good guy.. will be missed.
