Look, I'm new to this forum and I don't want to bring a downer on what seems to be a pretty up beat site. But I stumbled upon something on 6/11/10 which disappionted me and left me still not believing my eyes. What i'm pretty certain was a current ASP surfer selling one 2001 tour card of Andy Irons signed. The blurb that was accompanying this read something along the lines of '100% genuine signature as I got it myself" and "RIP Andy" Now this was posted on the day of Andy's death by this surfer using his real name. Nowhere does he mention that the money is going to a charity of some sort,so I give him the benfit of the doubt for now and so I don't think I should name him as yet. I checked the history of this persons buying and selling which would suggest they are one and the same. Surf board stickers, wetsuit, other surfing stuff and outdoor concert tickets which this guy is known to love. I find, if true, this to be pretty distasteful stuff. A collegue of the great man cashing in on his death only hours after it happened.(by the way it finished a few hours after I saw it and it sold for $117.50). I have been able to retrieve the post and have saved it to myebay. So I'm wondering what other peoples thoughts are on this and should he be named. I've made my concerns made via email to the ASP world tour no responses yet. Thanks for viewing this
