its probably too late to completely get rid of the smell ,but you can prevent it by rinsing out your suit after every surf

Get a bottle of Detol or Savlon next time you go to the shop, 1/3 fill your bath at home with lukewarm water and tip in about half the bottle of Detol.
Turn your wettie inside out and soak it in this for a couple of hours.
Then give it a good solid rinse out with a hose.

Yeah do the above, and then rinse in fresh water after every surf and then hang it up to dry as quick as possible - the smell is bacterior, which thrives in moisture, so keep it dryer.

IT is possibile to use a washing machine on a short rince (no spin) and low low temps. Use this with home made cleaner or the 'piss off' type cleaning fluids avaliabe in the shops.

In the summer its not so bad cause you can just flush it all out before it soaks no neoprne but winters different. Bloody stinks out our van sometimes. Blurgh!
