I saw similar board on the ebay a while back and thought of buying that myself. But after seeing a local shop trying to resell similar board for someone else (same brand different colour and was in perfect condition despite being 2nd hand), it kind of changed my mind. I mean why would anyone want to resell it so quickly (the person propably didn't own it long because the board was in near perfect condition) if it's a good board.

I know, it's possible that whoever bought it in first place have a change of heart about learning to surf. But it also took the surf shop took some time to sell it (the price tag was around 350 euro). Eventually I saw the board used by a girl in the water couple of time. Didn't look like as if she enjoyed it though and I've never seen the board again after that 2 times.

The board I saw had really nice graphic and colour (same flame design only in red, black and yellow combo), but in the end, how the board ride that's matter.

I'm not trying to discourage you from buying it, and I never actually tried the board myself. But if I were you, I'd safe up a little longer and buy a real nice board or get your local shaper to make the perfect board for you with the graphic that you really want.

I bought one for my wife about 2 years ago. The guy is from Brazil and the board we got was a 7'2" mal. My wife likes it but says it is super light and fast and compared to her 8'6" boad it was like a short board. The glas on it was pretty thin too. I did speak to the guy about being the Australian distributor for them but the GST (Tax) we pay upon importing them is pretty high and I would need to get a container load of them in to make it worth while. My girl is a good surfer so if you want to know about the rideability of the board then she is better off answering that as I am an unco. adrian@nightfireimages.com.au for further info.

I'm guessing he was doing some research on the board type. If you scroogle "Hawaiian sled" a linkie to this thread is only the fourth one down...

Guess the dude didn't notice that the tread had been dead for 3 years.
