music from the surf film 'Shelter'

Postby turtlesurf » Sat Jan 29, 2005 5:41 pm

hey all, i need some help!

i watched the surf film 'Shelter' a while ago and i love the music in it. There's one song in particular that i like. I cant remember alot of the lyrics, but the line that stands out is: 'he's just a man, and he doesnt know s.hit...'
its a male singing, with guitar. so damn good!

can anyone tell me, who sings it? ive been trying to find out for ages.

Also, is there a soundtrack cd that i could buy, if so, whats it called and do you know of any sites i could order from?

any help would be great!!!

You can get it here:
The soundtrack is included.

Based on your info, I think it is Mason Jennings you are looking for.

hay oslo

thankyou so much! its been driving me nuts.

i found Mason Jennings website, and asked the name of the song. it turns out that the singer im looking for is actually Jon Swift (the songs called Heartland feeling, if anybodys interested) but Mason Jennings sings another of the songs from 'Shelter' that i like so im gunna pick up his cd too. so you've lead me to two new artists! :D

thanks again!

No worries, mate. Also if you are into a bit of chill music with guitar(acoustic), check out Jack Johnson's album On & On. It's awesome.
