ok lets say your at your house is there anything you can do to train for like balance or popping up things like that

You can stretch but I found popping up on the board anywhere else other than the sea pointless :o

Most land board sports are going to help with balance, Sk8, Long, Mountain etc...

Also make your self and Indo board.

I agree with Mr Rip, I think popping up on land is just an example for people who don't have a clue of what to do so they can get a picture in their mind of what motions they need to go through.

After that they know what to do in the water but that's where it counts, and the practice you get will be out on the waves. I dunno about Indo boards never tried one or seen one, I'm just lucky that I was born with good balance and popping up was never a problem whilst I was learning, nose diving was my biggest problem. :lol:
