Newquay Places to Stay - Mid July

Postby Joe Potato » Thu May 08, 2008 4:02 pm

Hi all,

New to the forum and was wondering if someone could help out.

I'm off to Newquay in the summer with some mates and we're looking for somewhere to stay near the town centre for a reasonable price.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Cheers :D

LuvlyJubly, cheers for that.

Also, does anyone know if you can hire out boards from places there? Nothing fancy mind...

almost every surfshop in newquay rents out boards of some description, range from foamies upto the latest models, you'll be spoilt, you just won't be guarenteed waves, if you got a car it's worth a short drive up or down the coast to find somewhere that isn't so manic...

Cool ok, thanks. It'll only been my 2nd attempt at surfing... so I aint too fussed about the waves yet lol

Think we will be taking some cars down though as it works out a bit cheaper thanks to the great public transport system. So i'll bear that in mind.
