those rates do look small, but it looks accurate to me if its haw. scale.

honestly, even if you have been surfing 3 months straight, theres no way youre catching waves and riding the face with even just an 8 foot face, which is considered 2-4 feet HAW. scale. much less 10ft+.. i live i hawaii which has some of the best surfing locations in the world, when i first started it took about 3 months just to stand and not sink the nose while dropping in. yesterday (after surfing 5 years) i was at pipeline, it was about 6 foot HAW. scale(refer to pic) and i was so lucky and happy to have caught 4 waves. usually on days like that i catch 0-2. and theres plenty of guys out there who do the same. the only ones who catch more are the guys who compete the crowd on the inside, guys my age who have been surfing all their lives and live on the beach (i am 22) or old dudes who have a good 10 years under their belt atleast. and like you, i body boarded. for 5 years before surfing. everone on here, experienced surfers and beginners, know youre BS. because the learning curve is just not that quick for anyone.
also, i found it strange when i read that youre 14 yrs. old, 6'2'' and what was it, 90kg? thats 200 pounds. ive never seen a 14 year old that big.
he finally got to me.
