Yeah I heard that too... And I also heard that a minimum amount of salt water is going to replenish you too. So its a win-win situation! Although there is a neglible percentage of poo, pee and whizz, still gotta drink something!

I average around 2 hours. I only surf 3 hours if it's bloody good. I go for 2 to 3 sessions a day on weekends and the odd session before or after work during the week depending if the waves are good or if I'm desperate.

I find that surfing beach breaks that after 2 hours the waves have generally degraded to a point where there is little reason to stay in the water anymore. This is due to tidal movements or changes in the wind. Sometimes it's the crowd factor too.

The main reason I stop a surf session is because the conditions have gotten bad and I haven't caught a good wave in a while. If the conditions don't degrade I stay until my arms are tired which is around 3 hours.

Average about 2 1/2 hrs. Usually only 1 sesh per day, maybe more in summertime.

pkbum - after a surf is your tongue dry? Are you thirsty? If you can pee at all is it dark brown coloured? Do you get angry and confused? Do you hallucinate on the way home? Can you get home by yourself without an ambulance ride to A&E first? :P

I stand, up, do my homeschooling (2 hours) I surf, I get out, I eat at delfino's (a resturant/coffee shop right next to the spot I surf at, infact less than 40 meters from the ocean. I go in again, and 8:30pm, when the sun is mostly down, I get out, and when the swell sucks, I am here.

^think ya mean Panama...and no, not back to that rip off. Morro Negrito Panama is a joke....

No I go to Cabo where my bro has a house steps from 3 breaks.....I go once a year, he has quads for fun, and a truck so we can hit the east cape or wherever we need to go.

I went on that gay surf camp cuz a group of friends wanted to go to Panama and they did not listen to me about exploring on our own.
Costa rica I did feral style and loved it.

Surf camp= Kook camp live and learn

i sometimes get home from a 2hr surf session dehydrated with a bad headache, pretty much had to drink a lot of water and sleep a lot til the next morning :S

i wouldn't drink any sea water if i were you... i get really sore throat and fuzzy nostrils just being in the water; I brush my teeth, clean my tongue and flush my mouth every time i get back from surf before I consume anything.

How about you guys?

yeah right!!! :yearght: :yearght: :yearght:

I go 2 hours tops, up to 3 times a day, after about 1 hour and a half i feel that my level isn't the same, so i just come out...it's not worth staying that long if you're not gonna surf well.... i catch about 20 waves in a 2 hour session, sometimes more sometimes less... :surfing:

it depends on the waves. if they're 6ft+ i will only surf about 90mins before feeling too tired and not reacting well to big wipeouts. but if its 2-3ft clean as chips then i will surf untill i can no longer paddle. but today i went out, without surfing for a while and it was perfect 2-3ft clean and could only manage 2-1/2 hour because i havn't surfed in a while
