Normally flat, this is a sheltered break that only works when the wind is calm and the outer swell is over 10 feet from the northwest. I get the "green light" from my cousin who owns a cabin in the area that's 3 hours away!

Here's another look on a rare good day...


The rest of the time, your family and especially your dog can enjoy the pocket beach.

That place looks like it can hold some size. Beautiful spot.

In the Spring and Summer, this is a fun longboard spot, especially in the early morning hours, Rights break over sand in the middle area and lefts break over rocks on the right side. The water is COLD but so clear that I can usually see the ocean floor under my feet!

"Clear water" appeals to me!
