Surfing in Sri Lanka

Hi there,

I went through previous topics about surfing in Sri Lanka ... and mostly there was info about Arugam Bay. Some people described it as not the best place for a girl and I had to cancel it as desired destination... just don't want to be worried "If my girlfriend is all right" - while I'm somewhere out in the ocean.
Moving forward - has anyone got any helpful info about Hikkaduwa and Unawatuna Bay. I'm from London and I'm looking for a good deal, preferably all inclusive, for two weeks in September/October. I spent a few days searching web and most of the deals I found were for Bentota, Beruwala and further north. None of those hotels has "surfing" mentioned in activities section... so if any one could help - please do so:)
