Surfing Waves

This one`s for the San Diego crew.

I am thinking of dragging the family over for a holiday ( surf trip), shhh, don`t let the missis here.
The problem i have is the travel agents over here are gready bxxxxds, so i was thinking i could pay for the flights then find a hotel, motel, holiday park etc when i arrive. Does anyone know of somewhere fairly priced, clean and friendly. Thanks.

I lived in SD for most of my life. The place I used to look for deals was in THE READER.
