Hi all,
i know people must get sick of this sort of question but here's another.
Having got into surfing last year and doing really well i was hoping some kind soles will give a few suggestions as to where to surf in Sept. this year. looking at a 2 week trip.
Am open to anything really.
ideally looking to get into warmer waters with more consistent, decent waves (aren't we all?!). looking at europe mainly but to go fruther afield is certainly do-able.
cheers for any advice.

My understanding is that North Devon/Cornwall is at its very best then.
No need to leave the country

hmm. this only really helps when you know where you want to go.
i might add that i could probably do it cheaper independently.

Totally true, you pay for the hastle free factor, nice accommodation and the local guides knowledge of the surf spots.
Warmer waters in Sept in Europe might be pushing it a bit - you'll have to see what global warming offers up in the Northern Hemisphere this year

Seeing as winter was a two-day event this year in europe, and the water temp never got properly cold (okay, it was cold, but not as cold as many years) we're expecting august and september to be boardshorts and rashie weather

Hey have you looked at the Canaries ? September is one of the hottest months out there I have been told. And wave - wise it is usually pretty good too.

winter really was a manageable affair this year. i wore a hood twice and only thin gloves. i have to say i've been far too hot in my winter suit for a good few weeks now.
it's hardly boardshorts and rashie weather but the uk (esp in the south and west country) is ridiculously warm at the mo and it's set to continue. it doesn't even feel like we had a winter!

SW France should be OK September for some boardshort action, or a shortie at worst.
