Surfing NW UK - Lancaster?

Postby sal » Mon Nov 06, 2006 11:54 am

I'm off to (near) Lancaster this Saturday, to TRY and do a skydive  (been up twice during the summer and had bad weather) - the drop zone is right on the W coast and I'm considering taking my board just in case, as I can't face a third day sitting drinking tea in a chilly portacabin in a field! :x

So....

anyone know anywhere surfable around there? I have checked it out online and there doesn't seem to be any mention of anything in that area that I can find, so I'm guessing not. Just thought I'd ask you folks anyways!

If not, looks like I'll be drinking tea then!

Cheers! :D

Not looking good for surf this weekend coming anyway! :(

If I was in a plane with a surfboard this weekend, I'd be asking for a lift to northwest scotland

I went over the falls on a double overhead day and remember the sensation of freefall very well - does that count?
