Is brighton ever worth a trip that far on public transport?!?

If ever there's a forecast that gives us enough warning of a decent south coast swell (ha ha), I'll PM you and - if you can get to London the night before - I can give you a lift to whichever south coast spot will be working.

But I warn you...

a) Thats pretty rare that you can be certain of a southcoast swell. Always a strong posibility of a last minute change of plan.

b) I am an early riser (unless Phil is about. Then it always rains) - if I do a south coaster for the day, I often do a dawn session. Yes, that means leaving london when its pitch black....

c) My van is very slow

i'd give you a lift, but that would mean getting a train to the middle of nowhere (well, it feels like it!). if you can do it, then it's no problem for me to drive you down. i live about 30mins by train from london victoria.
