morrocco...the rainy season?

OK y'all

I am hoping to go to Morocco at the end of november but I'm now terribly confused because all the research I've done says sep-jan is the best time to visit. Which is obviously, really good.

BUT....checking wannasurf, it says avoid november because its the rainy season and will most likely have an onshore wind all the time. SO what is this all about then? Does anyone know? The onshore wind sucks but i'm not adverse to a bit of rain? Or is it torrential? I'm am a breath away from booking the flights and have my credit card poised, but would like some advice first if anyone has any. Will I have a miserable holiday and we'll all be sitting on our boards inside a leaking tent sulking? Surf patrol. I heard you'd been to Morrocco?.... help if you can??

Thanks very much!!

right, If its anything like Phuket (and we always get crappy onshore winds) when it rains..it really rains. Like enough to flood a road so you cant drive on it within an hour or two.

Surf I can only presume will be a good size but crappy onshore winds.
My advice is go to indo :D

i went to Morocco last October and the waves were amazing for a whole week, about 4-6ft offshore everyday maybe my week was just pure luck but it did'nt really rain either :D
Morocco is a cool place and is great for exploring for new spts as the coast is littered with some real epic spots.
Good Luck whatever you decide.

Imoarti I'm off to Maroc in Jan so looking forward to hearing your reports. What wet suit are you going to take?

This time last year i was in Morocco from September - December. We did get the odd few days of rain now and again but there wasn't a whole month of continuous rain. It was the same with the wind direction. Occasionally it would go onshore for a few days but from sept-feb it is prodomanantly offshore.

I'm staying in Morocco again for a few months from the beginning of November. So if you're up for meeting up over there marti let me know!

iomarti have i ever said anything to that would give you cause to dislike me in anyway? If i have then i am truely sorry.

It's just i have asked you a number of questions over a few different posts. I even think that i PM'd you once. But you seem to go out of your way to avoid speaking to me.

From what i have read on your posts you seem like a nice person. So I really hope that any issues you have with me can be resolved.
