Just checked magicseaweed for Llangennith and next saturday is reading 4.5ft@12seconds with 13 mph > wind.
I assume that this means that conditions should be good at the weekend?
Am i reading this corectly and what else from the charts should I take into acount.
Any help much apreciated.

Remember that the wind direction is vital... swell can be brillant but if its onshore then it'll be xxxxx obiviously...

magic seaweed is pretty dodgy at predicting wave size but is ok for prediciting when swells will arrive.
I surf gennith more often than anywhere else this time of year, and that sounds like a very good forecast (but its a long way away so keep an eye on it during the week).
It looks like the swell is gonna arrive late on friday and peak on saturday, should be a fair size at gennith, maybe 5-6ft, if it is then be prepared for a hell paddle out if its messy, if the wind holds of it will be class, the other gower beach breaks should all be working too and the reefs will go off if the wind is light enough.
Just to let you know, the forecasts i use are msw and soulsurfers forecast on a1surf (his forecast is based on experience not just some computer model and is usually pretty spot on). For reports I use llangennithsurf (add a foot to what they say it is, and learn to relate the webcam picture to the condidtions at the beach)

Yep, agree with what has been said above. This weekend looks like theres a swell coming in. If it is 5-6ft messy then dont bother because you wont survive it. It would be better going to the other places on the gower. Wont be sure on the conditions until friday.
