Surfing in Egypt?

I am going to Egypt for a week in late august.

Konw of any decent surf spots in Alexandria or Sanai?

Everything I find on the web looks like windsurfing and kitesurfing are the big deal there, but I don't seen anything really on freestyle surfing. Do you think it would be easy to rent a board there, or should I plan on bringing my own?

However with swell predicting in the med its kind of hit and miss. Basically you need a tight weather system to pass accross the main body of water in order to wipe up anythign that resembles swell. YOu'll find it very gutless but he its the med what do you expect!
