Duncs update in ecuador

Postby Duncs » Sun May 23, 2004 12:33 am

Hey,
Sorry i havent posted in a while, been travelling around ecuador mountain biking, horseriding and jumping off bridges. Finally got to a break at a place called montanita and spent 5 days surfing.

Well it was awesome!!!! Caught some good waves, put a phat ding in a board after nose diving and getting washed around with the board hitting me on the head!!! Apart form that i got stung by a jellyfish and got generally pounded!

The surf village was sweet, a good atmosphere and all...but i have moved on now and heading into peru. Thinking about surfing chicama, the longest beach break in the world (its 4 km i think).

Good to hear from you Duncs, sounds like the trip is going pretty sweetly. Definately try to get down to Chicama - not many surfers are able to say they have surfed the worlds longest wave.
Looking forward to the next update.
