Roughly how much would a 1 day sufboard hire be in Newquay, and what are the likely rates for week-long hire (I have been told you can do this and it's cheaper than renting a board for 7 days paying for each day individually)?

Whereabouts in Newquay will you be staying, and which beach will you be surfing most? Just asking, as there are loads and loads of surf hire shops here.

But you are right about 'weekly' hire, it is certainly much cheaper than hiring each individual day. As I've never had to hire a board I'm not entirely sure of the prices.. I think you are looking at about £10 a day ish. Some shops I trust more than others!!

Surfers Paradise is a great shop with helpful and friendly staff.. they fix any dings i get and they charge little and do a fab job. They have board hire, a huge selection actually.

I can do some investigating for you if you'd like, let me know what end of town you'd want to hire from.

With day hire prices near that of some Surf Hire hourly prices and even cheaper 3 day and weekly rates.
