If you get out of the way on the random tracks etc you'll be fine.

Theres quite a large community of people out in tourers and tents along the north track and laods to the south of this island too. Its all legal.

Camping

Hiya,
Like PapaWoolacombe said it is all legal in the designated camping areas... If you aren't allowed to camp there will be signs saying so.

Even if you stay on the main track on the north shore you shouldn't have any problems... the council have brought in a new "law" where you can pay 60 Euro's and you will get a camping license, after you have camped you can get that money back under the condition there haven't been any complaints made against you.

So you are ok to camp, just inform at the tourist office when you get here (they also get you the camping licenses)

regards and good luck !
