Hello again guys, whadya think...I am leaving Australia after half a year and since I picked up the surfing bug, I have to decide if i should bring back my board, or just sell it and buy another when I live by the coast again (someday).

so i bought the used 7'6 mini mal for A$400 (with bag), and from what I've seen online, it wil cost about that much, if not more to ship it. So i guess my real question is do you guys know of a shipping company that has anything reasonable for me? otherwise, it looks like I'll be saying goodbye to my first surfboard.

finally, are boards more expensive in the States compared to oz?

help me out, please.

I used Anglo Pacific to ship stuff back from Oz. They were real cheap and delivered to the door.
Have a look in the back of TNT.

hey crest, ive just spended a year down under as well, and after my trip i just took my board with me on the plane...

I flew with Quantas and the luggage max was supposed to be 20kg... whatever :D I called them and they told me 30 would be fine... so I had 27... (8 boardn bag + 19 bag)

I wouldnt want to sell my first board for anymoney... ok... not for anything appropriate...

yea, my only problem is i'm not goin directly home...from oz i got 10 days in fiji, then 4-5 in L.A, then finally to inland america. so i'd be taking at least 3 different flights, and im not sure i could lug that behemoth around the archipelego islands of fiji either...i just got a quote from some company (can't remember the name, they rung me at 8 in the morn and i was out of it), and it would be $3000 (yea, 3 zeros) to ship air, and 2K to ship by sea. wtf? online ive found only about 320 the cheapest, so i dont know what to do anymore. sucky.
