Surf between Jersey and DC

Postby nakashmi » Fri Apr 21, 2006 4:23 pm

My buddy and I are about to finish our second year of medical school and want to take a drive a few hours south of where we live in central Jersey to surf for a couple days. We're hoping to find someplace where we can camp somewhat close to a beach that has decent waves. I only know the east coast north of Jersey so I'm hoping for some advice.

Thanks!!

honesty, the waves get worse as you head south from Jersey until you get to the outer banks in NC...

you're best bet it to stay where ya'll are, as boring as that sounds.

You could give New Hampshire a shot, I don't know from personal experience but I have seen some kickin waves from there.
