ok, this may have been asked before, if so, pls direct me to the link..if not, then my question is, where is a good spot along the south shore for an advanced beginner?

Or when a swell hits, drive down the coast and see what looks the best.
Personally, I would recommend Diamond head a a begginer/imtermediate spot.

Also, ask around...speak to some locals. Or, where do the surf schools surf? That would be a good start.

just watch out for popo, he will stab you in the back.
