Surfing Waves

Hi there! Please can anyone give me some tips on where to stay in the Algarve this May? Im itching to go non-stop surfing for the whole of the month but am a lone girl so want somewhere not too secluded, but also cheap and cheerful. Or even somewhere I can hire and pitch a tent.
