Guys i need your help....
basically i was planning a trip to australia next year, planning on getting a visa and working as i go so it wouldnt turn out too expensive...well to cut a long story short, im cant go for a year so im not going to bother getting working visa.....
but im still determined to go, only thing is i dunno if i can get enough money in time to make the trip worth while... so i need to know how to do a surf trip on the cheap and i mean dirt cheap...cutting every corner possible.......any tips??
also if anyone knows of any well paying full time jobs....dont care what it is as long as it pays more than my curent £3.20 an hour!

£3.20 an hour

In London

How old are you? (just wondering if minimum wage is screwing up your surf trip plans lol).

An easyier cheaper way to do a surf trip is to stay with friends in there places, or hit youth hostels for like 5AUS$ a night!!
Also taxi's in australia are really expenive, so try and hitch a riide with friends!
Also I think just a 30 day touist visa is best if you are not staying long? but it means after 30 days you gotta leave the country!! Ouch.

I reckon you might need to get your arse outta there pretty sharpish then and find something that pays better lol (sorry for stating the obvious).
Im in Jersey, got sacked a couple of weeks ago and am having hella trouble finding a job that pays enough to keep my head above water (think rent, credit cards and the like). Am going up to B&Q in a bit cos they've got jobs going with starting pay of £7.28 an hour!

I work for a local cab firm on a Saturday night. Alot of the companies over here have a policy of ''No Splash'' on a Saturday night. They wont pick you up if they didnt take you out there (because the people either arent there when the cab goes to get them, or they refuse to pay when they get home...). If a cab has taken you out there, they'll take a tenner as a deposit and will pick you up. Whoever told you £50 was taking the piss though - round trip from town before 11pm would be £20 max, after 11pm, about £30. Still alot of money considering the (lack of) distance though.
