Hello

I'm going to FUE in April with my missus for a week. All looks good & am going to book with some surf school, not sure which one but will be checking some of the recomendations on this site in other threads.

I will be booking flight only as can get for around 100-150 quid each. We want to stay in a hostel though as get a good vibe etc, I don't seem to be able to find any hostels on the web?? does anyone know of any that I could contact??

Also are there any skate parks in FUE? I'm a novice surfer but will be taking my deck with me & would mind ripping a few contrete bowls if there are any available?

Theres plenty of unoffical accomidation in Correjlico (sp) and the pavements are nice and smooth. When I was there in Sept last year out towards the harbour ther was a virt ramp.

Cool cheers for that, I have spoken to an Errant holidays? they are offering hostel accomadation with surf school, breakfast & lunch for £350 for a week & £199 without the school (Girlfriend) I could do with getting this down a bit to be honest.

What would you suggest? Me & My girlfriend don't mind just turning up I'm getting the vibe that it should be pretty easy to find someone decent & fun? few other people there etc? Hoping for about £ 15 pppn Does that sound reasonible?

Then what do you reckon about going to a school & seeing if I could do like 3 days with them or something? Don't really want to leave my missus for the whole of the holiday as she won't be surfing. Will the schools cater for this kind of thing? How much do reckon it would cost?

Nice one for your help.

Me again...forgot to tell you that there is a fairly mid-sized skate ramp in the harbour area (as mentioned by someone above) we used to walk passed it during the evenings... but a lot of spanish local kids hang out there in the evening and it didn´t seem very impressive really...

I might be wrong as I am not a skater... it just looked kinda dodgy if you ask me...

Loads of flat pavement though...

Later...

Well when my partner and me went back in sept we booked for two weeks over internet going for cheapest accmidation. Got a basic room SC at some random villa. was a fine place, pool etc as well and with flights, car rental for a week plus out food bill we each paid £350 max.

Personally I could have odne this alot cheaper but my muisses is a bit fussy with food heh :p
