Me and my mates are looking at going on a surf trip at the end of may beginning of June. We have all grasped the basics of surfing and will happily spend a day surfing waves up to 6 ft.
Basically gonna get a flight, then hire van and camp chasing the waves for a couple of weeks.
It would be nice if it was sunny too.....
Any suggestions oh wise surfing people?!

Hi Mumbleboy, Welcome to Surfing Waves
Where are you based?
How much do you want to spend?
Where do I go?

Hi tahnks for the welcome!
We are based in UK, London area.... we are planning on getting a flight (up to £150-£200 pounds each) and then living out of the van and campsites....
Any ideas?

Cheap flights to all of the western europe coast, (france, spain, Portugal) and you can get snips on flights to the Canaries, tho van hire is harder there but less hastle with parking up as its a wasteland :p

How about forgetting the flight. Hire a van from the UK, get the ferry across to Saint Malo and drive down to La Rochelle. Start your trip from there and head south. If you are hiring a camper van you've got your accommodation sorted already. Then just surf the spots as you come across them as you drive. Go as far as Bilbao and you can get the ferry back from there.
