Surfing in Jersey....where's best???

Hi...off to Jersey for a week from this Sunday...anyone out there??....any tips on where and when to go to any particular spot....were going in the big bright orange VWLT van so please come and say hi !!!..Cheers Andy :D

I went to NJ last October...I'm at work now, when I go home tonight I will email you some links I used. I went to the Belmar area, had a blast, OH+ waves.

Hi Bud.....oops should have said Jersey the little island in the UK....not the USA....I wish!!!....have a good un....Andy :D ....have managed to hook up with some guys out there....meeting on Monday....swells look spot on from next Thursday!!

....LOL.. :lol:.....maybe one day!!..had one days top surfing on the Wed.....clean and pretty big (for me!!)...went touring the island next day when it was still decent then it went flat for the rest of the week!!!...never mind...top bay tho its called St Ouens on the west side...about 1 1/2 miles long with 3-4 different breaks on it too...would love to head back there in summer...a top spot...bars n surf shops right on the beach too!!...well reccommended!!...the peeps there are well laid back too!! :D

hi ratman as you say the best spot in jersey is st ouens
at the watersplash, i am going over in the summer
also from wales not far from cardiff .
u can all so get waves at the top and bottom of the island
if st ouens is too big have fun looking ...

I live on the ''lovely'' island. St Ouens Bay (actually about 3 miles long, but down by the Splash is best, or Stinky Bay - further along) is one of the best places over here to catch a decent break. If that fails, you've got Greve De Lecq (just around the corner from St Ouen, but you have to be careful - lots of rocks), and theres normally a few hanging out at St Clements too (south/east of the island)

Hi guys...walked up to 'stinky'....dont fancy the reefs/rocks there tho!!...I must be a clean sand surfer!!... :lol: ...had a top stay...can imagine it gets a bit busy on the roads in summer!!...wouldnt take much to jam em up!!!.....

....hi Surfool...top pic and site!!!....been to Genneth this afters...v clean and pretty big...a bit too big for me at the mo...Im at the getting t***ted out back stage now having conquered the waves further in...waiting for it all to suddenly 'click'...LOL !!!....(soon please!!!)....you must post on here if youre coming out 'west'...would be cool to meet up!!!....Andy
