Best beginner surf spots in Sydney?

Postby kawoh » Mon Jan 16, 2006 11:33 am

Hi - I am wondering if any of your can help me with the best beginner surf spots in Sydney. I have surfed in Waikiki Beach and it seems great for beginners, nice long running, smooth, 1-3 foot waves.

I went down to Bondi on the weekend, and I guess it's part of the swell, but it was pretty tough.

Anyone have any good suggestions on nice, not too big, smooth beginner waves in Sydney I can check out this weekend?

I have heard Manly and Cronulla.

Maroubra was really rough and had plenty of rips....
