Not much wave action. Nothing close to Georgetown or the demerara river, too mud flat like. Be good for wind surfing or kite boarding with the consistent wind.Found one spot about 1hr east from Georgetown. The coast seems a bit deeper and picks up swell. Its nothing special, normally waist to chest high and mushy. Saw it just overhead one day on a long period north swell, but that same day was epic throughout the Caribbean. Water is very muddy, access is difficult either through the mangroves or off the rock wall. Mid tide is best, water is still deep but not as much backwash off the rock wall. Rain will often clean up conditions and swing the wind offshore. Not a super pleasant experience but would scratch the novelty itch. Turn off onto dirt road approx 2.5km east of Mahaica river bridge (at De hoop) . They are building a new rock wall there.
