Where to go surfing on Holiday???

Postby activebysweetnes » Wed Nov 16, 2005 4:31 pm

Me and my sister want to go on holiday in February, we are looking for somewhere without heavy waves or shallow reef breaks, we can surf ok but aren't brilliant! Any ideas would be great!!! 8)

well, what about el salvador, I think its the perfect trip for you, waves are mostly pointbreaks and theres plenty of soft beachbreaks. it will improve your surfing a lot and the waves in feb are small and nice with perfect conditions, if you go with a surf trip company its super super safe even for 2 girls travelling alone, by yourself its a bit more dangerous thou.

I can hook you up with the surf trip company I used this year, well worth it!

let me know

have a look at Portugal...lots of beach breaks, cheap flights, good food and even better wine :wink:
waves for all levels of surfing in the north and south (algarve will be warmer)
can get some really good weather in Feb, but you will still need a wetsuit as the Atlantic is still cold.
have a look at Guincho, areas around Lisbon and Algarve.
Also check out the surf schools in Portugal on the internet, they have some really good package deals.
Hope this as helped... :)
