Surfing Gap Year suggestions

Hey people,
Im planning to take a gap year in about 18 months time- i really wanted to try and surf as many new places as possible-
has anyone got any favourite must visit spots?
Also if anyones been on a similar adventure id love some advice

Yea ive started my own ebay business to raise some money-
ive got a few places in mind- basically going around the world (cornwall- west coast of the us to hawaii to aus) thats about as far as ive got- what about you?

i want to spend some time in australia and do the east coast, then go to bali....indonesia and that sort of area, i figured if i am on the otherside of the world i might as well make the most of it.

Then hopefully do europe and places a bit closer in university holidays, i think that hawaii has to be on my list tho...its kind of a must for any surfer!

what do you mean a gap year...is that where you just take a whole year off and surf...that's pretty cool

Its a year (english) people usually take off between finishing school and going to university or getting a job usually used to work, travel or both....

can i recommend ticket to ride. i was considering taking a surfing gap year untill i realised that i really didnt have the money but this was the company that i was thinking to go with. although they are expensive the experiance you get really looks second to none so go you you tube check out their promo and see what u think, its def worth having a look.
