Postby khaldrogo » Tue Mar 02, 2021 4:08 am

Hey Guys
I'm a 22 year old from in the UK, trying to find the best and cheapest place for 2/3 days surfing in the UK.
If anyone has any experience help would be appreciated.

Cheapest for what? Board rental? Parking? Lessons? Accommodation?

I think you'll find that everywhere in the UK costs about the same. Accommodation is probably cheaper in the northern spots.

Rent a campervan and drive to Woolacombe.

Hotels and food is generally the expensive part.

I’d go fo possibility of surf not cost, 2 to 3 days , what fits your needs as a surfer! A surf hostel might be an answer!

Thanks for the information. I wanted to practice surfing for a long time but I didn't have time for it. Now I have a lot of time with this quarantine and I want to try something new. I want to fill the breeze of the sea in the early morning. Some friends told me that it is the best feeling and to catch a good wave. I want to select a surfboard and I found a lot of useful details about surfboards on many guides. I think that it is a useful tool for beginners, especially for me.

Legolas, there is a whole crew of very knowledgeable surfers here that are happy to advise you on the best type of board for your current progress and desired outcome. If you post a picture of the board you are think about, we can help with that too!
We have no particular brief nor do we wish to make a sale ( unlike the sales person) !
We know a great number of shapers and brands , even about secondhand stuff.
And as we are a forum with members in many surf zones our information may cut you a better deal too!
So I deleted your link to a store.
Cheers Jaffa
