Surf spots near or north of Rio Nexpa, Michoacan, Mexico?

Hi I'm new here and I'm currently in Rio Nexpa riding out the covid saga. Would love to hear where else you've surfed nearby and why you liked them. I'm moving further north and planning my next stop. Thanks in advance for sharing the love!

I went as far south of La Ticla, and that is an awesome break, about 3 hours north of Rio Nexpa. I also surfed Boca de Apisa, that is farther up Michoacan, great rivermouth break with huge peaks that barrels on the inside sandbars, another awesome break.
