Surfing Waves

hey im finally gonnna be able to go to SC every weekend and i need some good spots that are good for a barely intermediate surfer. Please help

i always go to stream lane right next to the wharf not next to the surf museum, when the swells are better. its kinda better in the afternoon from what a local told me

yeah i know of places but i just dont know when they break best etc. Also at steamers if the waves are good i hardly have a chance of catching a wave from the locals
