Nicaragua or Sri Lanka in Jan to Feb?

Which one fits my needs better?
Bench marks I look for:

1. Amateur-friendly waves and atmosphere with the easy access to spots and board rentals
2. Warm water, hot and sunny weather
3. Exotic nature
4. Some activities for my non-surfing girlfriend to do while im surfing (yoga for example)
5. Not super-crowded and at least kinda cheap

Let me know the most suitable destination for me; Nicaragua, Sri Lanka or some else? (Brazil??) Thank you.

Both are hot and can have good surf, there is a big depend on your home starting point ease of getting there, visa, for your country.
Yoga, Sri Lanka is ideal, I don’t have much idea about Nicaragua but as a beginner you need to be not to far into explorer territory.

Like how skilled you are, what is your surfing experience? I have no wish to recommend any spots if you are not self sufficient is surf safety!
There are no lifeguard services at either!
