Going there with my hunny in Feb. Need to strike balance between an early morning surf within striking distance for me and a really fun bar restaurant night club area near the home base.(Hunny doesn't surf) for her.
Was thinking Oistins/St Lawrence Gap zone? Any advice appreciated.

Hi,
Went to B'dos February this year. Silver Sands and Oistins may be good for what you describe, several surf breaks around that area, and Oistins has relatively active night life (for Barbados, I mean). We found Barbados had days where it was extremely consistent surf-wise, but then would go flat for days in one area, and we would drive up to the other side of the island, for example Batsheeba or Maycocks, so be prepared to travel if necessary to catch the swell. Hope you have a great time.

Thanks Paulina, I'm also going (in December) and appreciate the insight! All consistent with what I've read. I'm also looking to stay in Oistins - Freights looks great for me!
