Surfing Bali October/November

Hi All,
We will be traveling to Bali for October and November and I was wondering which side of the island will be most likely to have the best surf for and intermediate learning Older surfer.Any advise will be greatly recieved.

Welcome Scribble, your timing is at the shoulder end of the Bali high season , but there will days and times when the Bukit .... airport Kuta Legian stretch will be suitable. Bear in mind these areas can change dramatically with swell arrival and tides.
The east coast will start to come more into its own the further you head towards November!
The problem is not the swell although this lessens. But the dominance of unfavorable winds throughout the day!

If you can get a copy of Peter Neely’s Book Indo Surf and Lingo , you can get a good insight of where and when to go!

Where did you end up surfing? We surf in the south Bukit.
