Hello!

I am traveling from my home on the west coast of the US to Italy in september and plan to travel around and enjoy the amazing culture for about a month. Then I will be heading to the coast of Spain to enjoy another month of nothing but surf. While in Spain I want to camp on or near the beach (either north or south at this point in my plans).

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to store my board/camping equipment in Italy or any other counrty? Are there any spots in Italy as consistant in October as there seem to be in Spain? Does anyone have any tips on camping in spain?

At this point, I don't have the funds to buy a car, nor the time to sell it, yet if I were to buy a van/camper/car, where do I start?
I plan to know the basics of the language by the time I arrive and will be traveling with someone who speaks Itailan.

Any info would be great!

Andrew

hey caban !
If I were you I definitively go to Portugal !!! It's very close to Spain and there are so many excellent spots!!! (for beginners and advanced).
In Italy, in October, there is no swell...
Or if you can travel a beat more you can try the french pays-basque (biarritz, hossegor...).

hum........no, definitivley Portugal !!!!!!!!!!!

good surf !
