Hi Shannon, welcome to Surfing Waves,

I have not had the pleasure personally but I have heard good things. Are you thinking of going and need more info?
Why not get into your car, head south and tell us all about it!

Hey! Thanks for the welcome. I was actually down in Cabo San Lucas for Thanksgiving... didn't find any decent spots around there... well at night they got pretty big... but the undertow was hell... sooo... just wondering if anyone knew where the "decent" spots were... headed back down in June... would love to catch something worth while... :D

Playa Troncones won't dissappoint. Its close to Ixhtapa north of Acapulco.

Anyone have a good connection on plane tickets? I need some tickets to Panama. Latindiscountair.com hooked it up with $285 roundtrip from miami but think there are cheaper tickets to be had.

Hi Jack, welcome to Surfing Waves.

Playa Troncones - good advice. A powerful beach break and various point breaks to keep any surfer happy. It's also a really big beach so crowds are not a problem.

Righto, who has access to some cheap plane tickets?

hey you guys, being from Texas the waves aren't consistent enough. so we have to travel. been to Mexico, Costarica, east and west coast #'s of times. Mexico is an easy trip for us because its not that far. my freinds and i drove my truck down it took 24 hours non stop. traveled to pasqules good beach break can get big. stayed at Edgars place first hotel you get to on beach. a little further south is la ticla right point break. stayed at first place on left on the beach. ask for Wally. on anouther trip we flew into Mexico city(airport is crazy) changed planes and flew into Zihuatanejo. north from there is Rio Nexpa left point break. stayed at Jorge's place. i recommend Mex. because it has been easy for me others might have there on opinon. later on Chris..

Is Zihuatanejo a nice place? I'm planning to go there in a few months. What activities do you suggest I could do during my stay there? Thanks. :)
