I dont recommend Germany...

You need to head southwest...
SW france
NW spain
Portugal

All of them have their spots.

A little less warm and pleasant is SW england or most of the west-facing ireland coast.

Basically any coast facing the atlantic will do! :D

What little coast germany has picks up more swell than you think...

The last 4years to so the north sea has seen incresngly consistant swell for the majority of the year. (Summer being the slackest tho) Its all to do with the 30 cycle in which the icelandic high shifts north and south. Currently its at is most southerly resuling in many of the lows from the atlantic tracking to the north of the UK and thus hitting the north sea.

Its a little nippy but well worth a look as its so close. Check out the surroundly countries costal also, Neathlands etc...
Search on www.wannasurf.com or www.beachbreaks.com (or .co.uk cant remeber) and look for the northen Europes spots. The main ones are listed.

Yes, its always cold and raining... thats why Ive got a ridiculous surfers suntan at the moment, and constantly suffer from red-eye :!:

And as for the food, the UK big macs are nowhere near as good as the german one's, so I've heard
