Looking to surf in South America

Postby CharlieO » Thu Jun 29, 2017 11:10 am

Hey, sometime during my summer holiday (now - the end of September) I want to go surfing in South America for a few weeks.

I am probably a bit below an average intermediate surfer (last time I went surfing I was on a 7 foot longboard). I will also be traveling on my own from the UK.

Is the surfing still ok around this time of year? What place/s would be best to go to? I am not going for that long so won't be able to travel to that many places.

I was thinking Brazil seemed the best especially as there are lots of other stuff you can do there. What do you guys think?

Thanks.

Brasil sounds great, but you should also check out Perú.
