Where to go next ?

I've been in Batu Karas in Java for the past month and am really enjoying it. It's a right-hand point break. I can get and make trimming turns on a shortboard but can't do cutbacks yet. Where should I go once my visa expires in Indo? (or maybe I should renew and find another spot in Indo). I'm looking for another long right-hand point break away from the crowds that I can practice on for the next few months to continue improving.

Glad to see you are on the road and enjoying it.
Get out of Indo while you still have a little time on your visa!
Immigrasi do not like seeing expired visas and if you only have one or two days they have been known to keep you in protective custody until your via expires and you have then broken immigration law. Requires expensive convincing a magistrate that you didn't know or mean to overstay.
If you are happy with Batu Karas maybe go back! There are other rights in west Java but are all around Cimaja and are hard hit by Jakarta crowds and not particularly polite in considering white foreign learners. Batu Karas is abetter bet, You chose well! The south west coast of Bali has some spots but are even more ridiculously crowded.

The Krui area in Sumatra has some rights on offer but many of them require good skills, as they are reef driven. Lombok is the next thing to consider and the stretch from Kuta Lombok to Grupuk offers some easier right handers and only a short flight or ferry from Bali

Thanks for the detailed reply Jaffa. I will definitely keep those places in mind next time I am in Indo.
However, I think I'm in need of a change of culture (food). If you could go anywhere for rights this time of year where would you go ?
